A tintype is poured, exposed and developed on the spot, on a sheet of blackened aluminum, while you watch. There is no file and no retouching — the plate that comes out of the fixer is the photograph, one of one, and it will outlast every digital copy of itself.

This certificate covers a session in my Salt Lake City studio and the plate count you choose below. They pick their own date — there is nothing to book at the point of buying — and can add scans or extra plates themselves. I can post the certificate directly, or send it to you to hand over yourself.
